This 250 watt Matchbox is used with my Low Power rigs. I started using it with the Eico station first, then
wired a panel to switch it between the low power Heathkit stations as well. It comes with the Directional coupler
and the stand alone meter There is also a "Bird" wattmeter in the line for "real" power measurements just to be
on the safe side for the RTTY and CW stations. I don't want to be changing finals in the RTTY transmitter
because I am running higher than they like power levels.
I used the original back-lot antenna, mostly because it works for most of my rtty/CW contacts.
The antenna is 153 feet long, and 40 feet high, and well hidden through trees, and the tuner handles it well.
