My EICO 720
transmitters, were an attempt to recreate, the station I used when
in High School at H.C. Technical H.S. We used the EICO 720 with the 730
modulator and the receiver was a National 240D. We had an 80 meter dipole
stretched across the two legs of the "H" layout of the school building. There was
also several examples of homebrew equipment, built from the ARRL Handbook.
My Eico systems are not unique they work per the original manual and in most
cases were just refurbished and repainted to make the units look good in a normal
operating environment.
