SR-206
Transceiver

The SR-206 is also a hybrid, channelized (crystal controlled) transceiver. It covers the frequencies of 1.6 Mhz to
30 Mhz, at a maximum output of 150 watts PeP and Average. It can be setup for AM/CW/RTTY/LSB/USB
and performs well in any of these modes. There is a built-in speaker, front panel mounted and a (4) watt amplified
output. The audio is also available through a rear panel connector at 600 ohm impedance. The unit has VOX as
well as PTT capability. Also included are remote control capabilities over a distance of up to (2) miles. It interfaces
with the SRS model SR-110 R.F. amplifier to provide a 1 kilowatt transceiver. Provisions are made for use of
a clarifier for stations that are not exactly on the programmed frequency. Squelch operation is also available in
these units. If you are truly interested in restoring, and moving these units to the Amateur Bands, then you will
want to read about the correct way to do that HERE, while it is time consuming, it is not difficult even if you
have no prior experience with the SR-2XX series of transceivers.

The SR-206 W/ Remote control.

It is basically the same chassis as the SR-210, only the number of installed
channels is changed. This allows the rig to be upgraded to 10 channels if needed.
