Hallicrafters
SX-62A

Well my good friend and Co-worker Matt, was taking his retirement, and moving to Vermont with his family
and all his stuff! He had a full machine shop of equipment to move, all heavy items, and he said he didn't want
to take his "Short-Wave" receiver with him, and asked me if I would like to have it. I asked what it was, and he
said a "Hallicrafters Jobby". It was brought in to work and transferred to my vehicle, I was flabbergasted when I
saw what he brought in. Gentle persons, it was this SX-62A in very good condition, and included this PM-23
speaker complete with the hallicrafter logo on the speaker inside the enclosure.

To say I was stunned is to put it mildly, thanking him profusely, I took this gem home and hooked it up to my
antenna system, dialed up the general vicinity of 7290, and heard the guys on. I listened to them while I cleaned
the small amount of dust inside the unit. I put it in the "Dining" room area with the RTTY station so I would have
a full blown Shortwave receiver, that does AM/CW/SSB with really great sounding audio.

Way to go Matt, and I know I said this before but, THANK YOU very much. Good luck with your retirement!
