Well, for those of you that were wondering, what keyer I use down at
the low end of the bands, I thought I
would put a few pictures of them on this site. I own two HA-1 keyers,
and they are paired up with the HT-32(*)
transmitters. I also have an EICO model 717 keyer that is tied to the
two Transmitters the 720 and 723.
All the keyers have adapter cables to plug the "Key" into so I can
move the Vibroplex Key around between them.
I sometimes use a Bencher "squeeze keyer", but mostly I use the
Vibroplex, as I like that the best. If you hear me
using a "Bug" I am using my Vibroplex "Presentation", which I purchased
in 1963, at the Military PX at Fort Bragg,
North Carolina for $35.00, boy life was good back then.
Back to the TO Keyers, I have had them both for a long time, bought
at the Findlay Hamfest in Ohio a long time
back from a CW operator, who was selling his equipment off and going to
go into retirement from Ham Radio. I
got both of them and have been using them since.
